The idea
First identify the subject, then choose the ending. Look closely at short versus long vowels and at -at versus -ta. The five verb stems stay familiar while pronouns change. This is a grammar checkpoint on your way toward A2, not a complete A2 assessment.

Compare katabtu (I), katabta (you, one male), katabti (you, one female), and katabat (she). These short vowels are part of the grammar, not optional clues.

Keep the vowel length
Katabna (female they) ends in a short a. Katabnaa (we) ends in long aa. Katabuu (male or mixed they) ends in long uu, with a silent written alif.
