Ṭaa and ẓaa

Distinguish two tall emphatic letters from ordinary taa and dhaal.

Look at the letter then pronounce it

Both letters have a tall stroke rising from a rounded body. Keep the tongue body retracted for emphasis, without straining. Here ẓ represents emphatic voiced th; some regional speech uses an emphatic z-like realization.
