Make and decline a plan

Use سـ, سوف and selected لن forms.

Two future markers

Attach سَـ to the present indicative, or use the separate word سَوْفَ: سَأَذْهَبُ / سَوْفَ أَذْهَبُ, I will go. Both express future; do not impose a fixed near/far timetable. غَدًا means tomorrow.

سَأَذْهَبُ غَدًا

Will not

Use لَنْ with the subjunctive, without سـ or سوف. In the singular forms here, final ـُ becomes ـَ: لَنْ أَذْهَبَ. Feminine you loses the final ن: لَنْ تَذْهَبِي. Male/mixed they: لَنْ يَذْهَبُوا, with a silent final alif.

لَنْ أَذْهَبَ / لَنْ تَذْهَبِي / لَنْ يَذْهَبُوا

Watch the ending

Compare أَذْهَبُ (indicative) and أَذْهَبَ (after لن). Typing these mood contrasts requires the model's vowel signs. Learn these selected forms; this is not a complete subjunctive paradigm.
