Learn gender with the noun

стіл (table) is masculine; книга (book) is feminine; вікно (window) is neuter. Endings are useful clues, not a complete gender rule. книги = books; вікна = windows.

Matching forms

For new, learn новий стіл, нова книга, нове вікно, нові книги. Adjectives agree with the noun in gender, number and case; these are nominative forms.

My and your

мій стіл, моя книга, моє вікно, мої книги = my table/book/window/books. твій, твоя, твоє, твої mean your for familiar singular ти.
