I, gli or le? Mixed plurals

Compare masculine and feminine plurals, including vowel beginnings.

The idea

Feminine plurals use le, even before a vowel. Masculine plurals use i before ordinary consonants and gli before vowels or special beginnings such as s + consonant and z. Every round mixes all three: decide from the noun, not the lesson title. Mani and notti are feminine despite their -i ending.
