Future plans and times
Use akan, time words and clock-time phrases.
Tomorrow's plan
besok = tomorrow; nanti = later. Akan before a verb marks future/prospective meaning: Saya akan bekerja besok. It is unchanged for all subjects. Time words or context can also give future meaning without akan.
Want, will and will not
mau expresses wanting/intention in the food lesson; akan focuses on the future plan. Saya tidak akan bekerja = I will not work. Apakah mereka akan datang? = Will they come? The order tasks specifically practise akan.
Clock time and duration
pukul tujuh = at seven; pukul delapan = at eight; dua jam = two hours. Jam can also introduce a clock time, but these exercises request pukul. Do not confuse duration dua jam with clock-time jam dua.
Besok kami akan belajar pukul delapan.
