Singular or plural? Der, die or das

Mix singular nouns with plurals and choose their nominative article.

The idea

All genders use die in the nominative plural. The exercises mix singular and plural nouns, so first look at the whole word: das Buch → die Bücher; der Hund → die Hunde. Singular nouns keep their learned gender; plural die does not mean that the noun is feminine.
