Build short written questions without English-style inversion.

Question words

ვინ = who; რა = what; სად = where; როდის = when; როგორ = how. A yes/no question can keep statement word order and add question intonation/punctuation.

სად ცხოვრობ? = Where do you live? როდის მუშაობ? = When do you work? ვინ არის? = Who is it? როგორ ხარ? = How are you? Here ხარ means are (you).

რა არის? asks What is it? რას კითხულობ? asks What are you reading? The object question word here is რას, with the dative ending.
