Find places and go somewhere

Use taught place expressions and a small set of motion forms.

Places as complete forms

სახლი home → სახლში at home/into the house; სკოლა school → სკოლაში at/to school; სასტუმრო hotel → სასტუმროში at/to the hotel; თბილისი → თბილისში in/to Tbilisi. The verb helps distinguish location from destination.

Going now

მე მივდივარ = I am going; შენ მიდიხარ = you are going; ჩვენ მივდივართ = we are going. Motion verbs are irregular: learn these complete forms.

მე სასტუმროში მივდივარ.

I am going to the hotel.

Finding a service

სადგური = station; სად არის სადგური? = Where is the station? ახლა = now. სახლში ვმუშაობ means I work at home.

ჩვენ სკოლაში მივდივართ.

We are going to school.
