Use six pronouns and the present of to be; recognize that Georgian has no articles.
Who is speaking?
მე I; შენ you (one familiar person); ის he/she/it; ჩვენ we; თქვენ you (plural or polite singular); ისინი they. Georgian has no grammatical gender and no equivalents of English a/the articles.
Present of to be
მე ვარ; შენ ხარ; ის არის; ჩვენ ვართ; თქვენ ხართ; ისინი არიან. Learn the complete forms. A subject pronoun can be omitted when context is clear.
First descriptions
სტუდენტი = student; აქ = here. In these exercises use separate არის, not the contracted ending -ა.
მე სტუდენტი ვარ.
