Question words in writing

ո՞վ who; ի՞նչ what; որտե՞ղ where; ե՞րբ when; ինչպե՞ս how. The mark ՞ follows the stressed vowel; it is not an English end-of-sentence question mark. Dictionary forms omit it: ով, ինչ, որտեղ, երբ, ինչպես.

Keep the verb form

Yes/no questions need no English do: Դու աշխատո՞ւմ ես։ = Do you work? Compare Դուք աշխատո՞ւմ եք։ = Do you work? (plural/polite).

Դու որտե՞ղ ես ապրում։
