Menu words

հաց bread; ջուր water; թեյ tea; սուրճ coffee; կաթ milk; պանիր cheese. ու and և both mean and in these simple lists. This course writes the common conjunction և; ու is also accepted in the indicated typing item.

Want as a complete phrase

Ես ուզում եմ = I want; դու ուզում ես = you want (familiar). The infinitive is ուզել. Learn these phrases directly.

Ես ջուր եմ ուզում։

I want water.

At the counter

խնդրում եմ = please; շնորհակալություն = thank you. Մեկ = one; մեկ սուրճ = one coffee. Ջուր, խնդրում եմ։ = Water, please. These are useful fixed service phrases.
