Please, note that I created this website in 2007 before the renovation. Therefore Contents are not updated, though most of them are still valid. I went back there in 2009 and the main news is that almost all the rooms have a kitchen inside. I continue running this website because it's a nice memory of an important period of my life though probably it losts part of its usefulness.

This site collects some photos and experiences from the Raab Heim's occupants. So if you want to read about how every room has wallpaper or carpeted floors, please click the link above. On the other hand, if you're interested in the pros and cons of this hostel, if you want to know what you should take with you before you come here, just use the left menu!

A short preamble: I want to make it clear that I didn't visit all of the Raab Heim's rooms. So, what I'm writing is valid only for my and my friend's rooms. Maybe the other rooms have different furniture or more beautiful walls.
What I'm trying to say is that this site may contain errors, inaccuracies, mistakes... I'm trying to be almost objective and to write a funny and photographic report. Nevertheless there's still a subjectivity margin, so you could find this place more beautiful or uglier than I do.

You can use this site in different ways:

• If you just want a serious report of problems and hints about living in Raab Heim just click on Summary on the left menu. There are no photos in this section.
• If you want to enjoy the reading a bit more and have a full and funny description of places just surf all the pages.
• If you want to ask a specific question please go to the forum (registration needed, to avoid spam).

All the photos shown in the website are real and were shot during the Winter Semester 2007 in the old Raab Heim.
