The greatest minds of all mankind are threatened by giants
meteorites containing mathematical operations. To save these
thinkers, 4 protective shields were set and a protonic
cannon was built to shoot the meteorites. If the meteorites
destroy the shields our awesome intellectuals, to whom we
owe so much, could be lost forever...
How does the protonic cannon work
In order to destroy meteorites you have to type in the result
of the operations contained in them, and then press space bar.
If the result isn't correct, the cannon won't shoot.
Beware the falling of red meteorites: they fall twice as fast
and when they hit a shield they will destroy it completely.
On the other hand, if you'll manage to shoot to them,
they will repair or recreate one shield.
Special thanks
The game basic idea was taken from the application Tux of
Math. This program, that I'd probably never found without
the hint of Mathmum of base5Forum, is very funny and open source. I invite you to download it and spread it.
A big thank to Pietro who checked my English translation!
Settings and other precautions
It's not possible to delete digitized numbers. Therefore, if
you realize you did a mistake, press space bar and then
re digitize the number.
Below you find the game options. You can choose which
operators you want to fight (+ means only sum, so operations
as "3+4" and "7+1", +- means sum and subtraction, so "2+1"
but also "3-7" and so on...) and the maximum value of
operands (with maximum value 3, for instance, you will have
only 0, 1, 2, 3 digit combined with the chosen operators).
Obviously, the higher the operands are, the more points you will receive when you'll destroy a meteorite.
